The government of Jocotepec this week officially opened a new access road to the city’s Libramiento bypass.
The widened extension of Calle Josefa Ortiz de Domínguez leading from the center of town connects at the intersection with Aldama. The street heads uphill from the west side of the municipal market, feeding into the Libramiento junction.
The project designed to benefit Jocotepec inhabitants and visitors alike was completed with a budget of approximately 9,072,400 pesos (US$530,780).
