Just days after her October 12 mega-pilgrimage, the Virgin of Zapopan is back on the road again for a traditional fall tour of Lake Chapala communities.
Following stopovers in San Nicolás de Ibarra and Santa Cruz de la Soledad, the revered icon arrives in Chapala Friday, October 27, 5 p.m. for an overnight visit.
She moves on to San Antonio Tlayacapan the next afternoon, Ajijic on Sunday, October 29, then onward west for a final appearance in Jocotepec. Thunderous rockets will explode in the air as the faithful flock to greet her at each destination.
