Maestros del Arte

The Feria Maestros del Arte opens Friday, November 7 and runs through Sunday, November 9 at the Hotel Real de Chapala, Paseo del Prado 20 in lower La Floresta.  Hours are 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is a donation of 100 pesos.

LLT

Lakeside Little Theatre (LLT) opens the second production of its 61st season, “The Tin Woman,” on Friday, November 7. The play is based on the true story of a young woman who unexpectedly needs a heart transplant. Afterward, she decides to contact the donor’s family.

Theater

•  “Blood Relations” opens Friday, October 24, 4 p.m. at Bare Stage. This electrifying play is based on the true story of Lizzie Borden, who may or may not have killed her own blood relations in Fall River, Massachusetts, in 1893. The murder remains unsolved.

Renowned playwright Sharon Pollock examines Lizzie’s motives, her relationships, and the possibility of her innocence or guilt, offering a nuanced perspective on one of America’s most notorious historical figures.

Wendy Liebman performs Friday, October 17, 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, October 18, 4 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at BRAVO Theatre, Hidalgo 441 in Riberas del Pilar.
