Holiday art and crafts
• The Lake Chapala Society invites the entire Lakeside community to celebrate the magic of the holiday season at its annual Christmas Market on Friday and Saturday, December 5 and 6, from 11 to 5 p.m. Over 80 vendors will display their unique gifts, handicrafts, hand-crafted pottery and embroidery, festive seasonal decorations, original artwork, jewelry, textiles and knitted items. A special highlight of the market is the LCS Children’s Art Program Christmas Cards — beautiful, creative cards designed by local young artists, with proceeds supporting art education at Lakeside.
