Rehearsals to learn Michael Jackson’s famous dance in preparation for Thrill The World Ajijic continue every Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. and on Tuesdays from 4 to 6 p.m. on the third floor of Plaza Bugambilias.
Thrill The World is an annual global event where participants simultaneously dance to Michael Jackson’s iconic song “Thriller.” This year, Ajijic will celebrate its 14th anniversary of Thrill the World Ajijic, bringing together zombies of all ages, both Mexican and expat, to learn the dance and raise funds for local charities.
The event features a diverse group of participants spanning a wide age range, including enthusiastic local Mexican children as young as four and retired expats who return year after year, some well into their 80s! Funds raised by Thrill the World Ajijic 2024, scheduled for Saturday, October 26, at 3 p.m., will benefit the Rotary Club of Ajijic
