Roberto’s (Carretera Poniente 35) will serve dinner from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. The menu includes creamy shrimp cocktail wraps and carrot croquettes, crab bisque, holiday salad, traditional roast turkey and dessert of pumpkin praline pie with fresh ginger whipped cream and an after-dinner creamy Amaretto Fizz and coffee for 195 pesos per person. Salvador’s Restaurant (Plaza Bugambilias, Ajijic) will hold its popular Thanksgiving buffet from noon to 7 p.m. The board includes turkey and all the trimmings, baked ham, corn bread, various salads, mashed and sweep potatoes, pumpkin and pecan pies and more desserts, a glass of house wine or soda, iced tea or coffee. La Nueva Posada (Donato Guerra 9, Ajijic) will serve Thanksgiving dinner at three sittings: 1:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. The meal begins with a vegetable crudite platter with fresh herb dip, pilgrim chowder and a croissant and butter and continues with traditional roasted turkey with savory dressing, giblet gravy, cranberry sauce, nut candied yams, sweet and sour red cabbage and English peas with fresh mint. For dessert enjoy bourbon pumpkin pie with fresh whipped cream, coffee or tea and a liqueur with your coffee. Armando’s Hideaway (Privada Ocampo 18, Ajijic) will serve Thanksgiving dinner from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The meal includes fall salad, hot spinach dip with baguette, oven roasted turkey, Southern corn bread stuffing, buttery mashed potatoes and gravy, candied yams topped with toasted marshmallows, fresh green beans seasoned with bacon, pink pineapple fruit salad, fresh cranberry sauce, a home made dessert and fresh brewed coffee for 240 pesos per person. Manix (Ocampo 57, Ajijic) will have their annual famous Thanksgiving buffet starting with appetizers, and all you can eat roast turkey and stuffing, crown roast pork, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, corn soufflé and more, including an extensive dessert bar for 220 pesos per person. Number Four (Donato Guerra 4, Ajijic) will serve Thanksgiving dinner beginning at 6 p.m. The meal includes a glass of white or red wine or a special Thanksgiving margarita and three courses. The first is butternut and roasted pumpkin coconut bisque or Waldorf salad. The main entrée is organic roast turkey with stuffing, mashed potatoes, candied sweet potatoes and asparagus or roast leg of lamb with mint glaze. A special Thanksgiving risotto will be offered for vegetarians. Dessert is warm sticky toffee bread pudding, flourless chocolate cake with ice cream or Crème Brule. The price is 290 pesos. La Parisianne (kiosk next to the Maskaras Clinic in Riberas del Pilar) has the perfect pumpkin muffins to serve to your overnight guests or to treat yourself. It’s open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
