The Charros de Jalisco, reigning champions of the Mexican Pacific League (LMP), are tied 3-3 in their first-round playoff series against the Cañeros de Los Mochis.

The Zapopan-based baseball team avoided elimination by winning game six Thursday, defeating the Cañeros 13-5.

The deciding encounter in the seven-game series Friday, January 10, 7:15 p.m. is likely to fill the Charros Stadium.

Should the Charros advance to the semi-finals, games will be played January 12-20, with the final series scheduled January 22-30.
