A section of roofing collapsed at around 5 p.m., covering an area of approximately 60 square meters in rubble. The cause of the collapse has yet to be determined but the Department of Public Works in Zapopan assured that it would provide answers within the next ten days.
The facility, commonly known as “El Hospitalito,” was closed in the aftermath of the collapse, with all patients evacuated and relocated to other hospitals, and the streets surrounding the building were closed.
