A powerful storm on the evening of July 15 caused nearly seven-meter-high flooding in the working-class La Martinica neighborhood of northern Zapopan, affecting around 150 homes.
Authorities reported the death of a five-month-old girl and the disappearance of a 32-year-old woman.
Reports confirmed that some homes were completely submerged by the rising waters.
