Casa de las Artesanías to host ‘Mundo Jalisco’ Festival

The Jalisco government has announced “Mundo Jalisco,” a 23-day festival designed to help local artisans, farmers and small businesses capitalize on economic opportunities from the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Running from June 12 to July 4 at the Casa de las Artesanías and Parque Agua Azul in Guadalajara, the festival will feature direct sales of handicrafts, textiles, furniture, tequila, craft beer and traditional foods. Organizers aim to support 1,000 local producers from all of the state’s 125 municipalities.

Visitors can earn a free “Mundo Jalisco Passport” — collecting stamps with purchases to unlock tequila tastings and experiences at the historic Dr. Atl house within the Parque Agua Azul.

The state’s Economic Development Agency (SEDECO) is covering floor space, booth design and promotional support for participants. Open public invitations are available at gobjal.mx/MundoJalisco.
