Christopher Landau, the U.S. ambassador to Mexico,  announced through social media that the period for renewals for tourist visas for the United States has been increased from 12 to 24 months. 

Following a slight drop in the number of daily Covid-19  infections in Mexico, the U.S. government has dropped its Level 4 “Do Not Travel” warning for this country.
