The third annual Chapala Festival del Tequila is scheduled to run Friday, August 14 through Sunday, August 16 at the waterfront Malecón.
Exhibitors will tease visitors with free samples of more than 20 different brands and varied classes of the emblematic fire water, as well as offering cash-and-carry sales of full bottles.
The event will also showcase regional handicrafts, gastronomic products, tourist information and plenty of lively Mexican-style entertainment.
