The LGBT communities from Guadalajara and lakeside are coming together for the first Chapala Pride festival set for Saturday November 12, under the slogan “For our Constitutional Rights.”
The event opens with a parade from the north end of Avenida Madero to the waterfront, starting at 4 p.m. The festival continues at the outdoor forum on the Malecón with an entertainment program featuring a drag show by impersonators of famed singer, intermingled with an anti-discrimination and anti-violence rally.
