President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador has stressed that he is in good health after becoming infected with Covid-19 for the third time.
The 69-year-old president admitted that he suffered a dizzy spell in Chetumal, Quintana Roo last weekend while inspecting work on the Mayan Tourist train project.
Although reports said AMLO had fainted, the president confirmed in a video posted on social media Wednesday that he “never lost consciousness.”
He said his “blood pressure dropped during a meeting with military engineers … it was a kind of dizziness … the doctors arrived immediately and treated me … they wanted take me on a stretcher in an ambulance to the hospital. I refused.”
