President Claudia Sheinbaum has highlighted what she calls a “completely different vision” from the United States on combating illegal arms trafficking to Mexico, following a new bilateral agreement.
The pact, dubbed Barrera a las Armas o al Fuego (Firearms Barrier), will expand use of the eTrace system and ballistic imaging technology to Mexico’s federal government and all 32 states.
