Red Parque Caninos, which has pioneered the opening of two parks in Guadalajara designed exclusively for dogs, has focused its eyes on Puerto Vallarta, where it hopes to create a “pet friendly” beach.
Group spokesperson Alberto Mercado notes that Vallarta authorities are likely to be convinced about the project because they realize that “many Americans and Canadians like to travel with their pets. Knowing that there is a friendly destination they could come to with their pets would attract more visitors.”
