Delving into an upcoming Northern Lights’ jewel

I would like to share a few thoughts with you related to the upcoming concert  “The Golden Flute” to be presented in Villa Wilshere on Wednesday, February 20, which I am very much looking forward to attending, partly because of the unique program and partly because of the wonderful musicians who will be playing it.

Intimate reading from local poet’s final book

Jim Tipton, who died on May 16, 2018, was a much loved writer and poet at Lakeside. His last published book, “The Alphabet of Longing and Other Poems,” is a slim volume in which he poetically describes 13 years of living in the high desert mesa of Colorado, with his dog as his only companion.
