Some of Mexico’s top mariachi bands will headline the six nightly gala concerts at the Teatro Degollado during the International Mariachi and Charreria Festival that begins on August 28.
During the Jazz Festival, a number of local muscians and bands will take the stage at Primer Piso, which sports live jazz from Tuesday to Saturday.
Grammy-winning jazz vocalist Kurt Elling performs on August 5.
The fourth edition of the Festival Internacional Jalisco Canta, is branching out this year, taking in Chapala, Lagos de Moreno, Mazamitla and Amacueca, as well as Guadalajara.
