Lake Chapala Research Center embarks on ambitious new programs in the public arena
Director Cheryl L. Kilough has put her 26 years of computer and educational experience (and certification in 347 computer programs) into the successful opening of this fall’s classes at the Lake Chapala Research Center in Jocotepec.
Marvin and Helaine Harthcock are well known fixtures in the Lakeside landscape. For 18 years the couple has always been willing to lend a hand and help out when and where needed.
Rotary International expanded into Chapala when District 4150 approved Club 86070, the Sunrise Rotary Club of Chapala, on June 30. The new group’s 32 charter members (which includes 15 former Rotarians) join the global association of 33,000 clubs in more than 200 countries.
