ECOLOGY FESTIVAL
Guadalajara’s Parque Mirador, overlooking the Huentitan Canyon on the northern edge of the metro area, is hosting its first Ecology Festival Sunday, March 15, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Scheduled activities include live music, an art exhibition, gastronomy zone, crafts for sale, a holistic pavilion,free workshops, yoga master classes. Celebrity judges from Guadalajara and Puerto Vallarta have been recruited for the Talent Show Grand Finale Sunday, February 16 at the Auditorio de la Ribera, 7 p.m.
Mexican Pastora Mary Loera and her Colorado-born husband Owen Walcher host a bilingual service each Sunday, 6 p.m., at the Iglesia Centro Cristiano Agape, Nudo de Cempoaltepetl 842, Colonia San Marcos, about three kilometers northeast of Guadalajara Centro.
