Starting October 6, the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI) will begin conducting its Intercensal Survey, a initiative to update sociodemographic information between the 2020 and 2030 censuses.
The survey will run through November 14, with INEGI staff visiting households across the country.
The main objectives of the survey include gathering updated data on the country’s population size, gender distribution, age groups, housing conditions and living standards. The survey will also gather information on education levels, employment status, migration patterns, and indigenous language speakers, all essential for shaping future public policies and social programs.
