Lakeside Little Theatre has been lucky to have the playwright of this season’s final play, “Cake Walk,” come to our area for a visit.

Lakeside Little Theatre presents “Cake Walk” by Colleen Curran. Directed by Collette Clavadetscher, this farce is about five unlikely contestants who clash in a Canada Day cake-baking contest, in which each character gets his or her just desserts!
There was a delightful buzz of electricity in the air at Saturday’s opening at Galeria Sol y Luna. Twenty-two artists were highlighted and the gallery was populated with a variety of oils, watercolors, photographs and sculptures.
What seems like an eternity after its original play date of March 2020, Bare Stage Theatre this month debuts “These Shining Lives” by Melanie Marnich.
