Monday recitals
Talented musicians of different genres showcased each Monday. April 1: Classical guitarist Enrique Florez (above) and flutist Cuauhtemoc Garcia Verdugo give a recital. April 8: La Orquesta de Cámara Independiente de Guadalajara, directed by Guillermo Salvador, interprets works by Damy, Moncayo and Piazzolla (The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires). April 29: Michaël Bialobroda (cello) and Saúl Ulises Ibarra Ramos (piano).
Seven Canadian films will comprise the first annual Canadian Film Series in Mexico. Guadalajara is one of 14 cities participating in this event, which showcases films screened in the Toronto International Film Festival.
