Chapala school teachers honored on May 15
The Chapala Sunrise Rotary Club brought to fruition several goals of its inaugural year when members doled out funds for eight projects on Saturday, May 14.
Lakeside birders continued to search for and record species of birds in the area around Lake Chapala during April excursions to Cristiania Park, where members spotted the Tri-colored Heron, Black-backed Oriole, Forster’s Tern, Summer Tanager, Bushtit, Cooper’s Hawk and Eurasian Collared Dove and more, to total 50 species for the day.
