Shrine record
The Lake Chapala Shrine Club “Dine with the Shrine” event held on January 18 at La Nueva Posada set an all-time record.
The Jalisco Secretariat of Culture donated these railroad ties to be used for the bed of the garden railroad donated by the Shrine Club. It will be presented during the memorial service for David Netherton who put the Shrine Club in charge of its installation. The service begins at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 20 at the old train station in Chapala.Memorial Service
A memorial service for the late David Netherton, the Chapala Garden Railway builder, will be held at the Centro Cultural Gonzalez Gallo museum (the old Chapala Railway Station) on Sunday, January 20 at 2 p.m.
