The Chapala Sunrise Rotary Club celebrated its annual Changing of the Button event on July 9, as the organization continues its mission of providing social services and humanitarian aid in the Lakeside region.
All Lakeside-area nonprofit groups are encouraged to submit information for an online survey of their activities, which will be distributed on Monday, August 4. Responses, one per organization, are requested within the following ten days.
Two expert speakers are lined up to lead the Understanding Mexico seminars, taking place over the next two weeks at St. Andrew’s Anglican Church under the auspices of the Lake Chapala Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (LCUUF).
The Lake Chapala Garden Guild is not just about developing talents in flower growing and the design of striking floral arrangements. Each year, this group of flower lovers applies proceeds from its annual Floral Design Show to support worthy community projects.

The Lake Chapala Society (LCS) will continue to offer its facilities as a site for the U.S. voter assistance program run by the Lake Chapala chapter of Democrats Abroad. The same space will also be made available—on alternate days—for any Republican or conservative group that applies to provide a similar service.
