Balloon artists from around the world spent four days creating 14 stunning floats and three-dimensional sculptures based on the theme “El fondo del mar” (The Undersea), which were presented in the Guadalajara Balloon Parade on Sunday, May 4.
Thousands of eager spectators waited for over an hour to watch as the incredible floats, each led by its creator, made their way from Expo Guadalajara along Avenida de las Rosas to the Chapalita Glorieta.
The event was sponsored by Globos Payaso, a Guadalajara-based company recognized as the world’s largest manufacturer of latex balloons. The parade is expected to become an annual event, showcasing the talents of the world’s top balloon sculpture artists. See more images on Guadalajara Reporter FB page.
