Concerts in the Park

Steve Balfour’s Concerts in the Park series is in full season with four upcoming events at the Lake Chapala Society in the next five weeks. All performances are double with shows at 2:30 and 5:30 p.m.

In “The Quality of Life,” two cousins and their husbands reconnect after each experiences devastating loss, and they discover that their opposing perspectives help them find peace.

LLT auditions

Director Suki O’Brien is looking for four men and four women for “33 Variations,” by Moises Kaufman. Auditions are Thursday, January 12, 10 a.m. Callbacks January 13, 10 a.m.

Last chance for art

Efren Gonzalez is holding an end of the year art auction of oils, watercolors, acrylics, photography, sculpture and other art Wednesday, December 28, 3 p.m. on the Ajijic Plaza.

AMA exhibits

The Ajijic Museo de Arte (AMA) held an opening day cocktail reception Sunday, December 11 for three temporary exhibits.
