Eight local textile artists, members of Kindred Quilters sponsored a well-attended show of their work on November 8 in La Floresta. Among the more than 150 people visiting the exhibit were visitors from Monterrey, and Brazil.
Rock and More is the perfect name for the Wednesday, November 19 fundraising event at La Huerta. The evening will be filled with the great music from the 1950s through the 1970s, dance contests, raffles and awards for the best hippie costumes.
