I have a confession to make. But before I do, perhaps some background information is in order. I am a woman, 5 foot 4 inches tall, and I weigh 127 pounds soaking wet. I usually shy away from arguments or confrontation of any kind.

In these past ten years living in the Ajijic area, I have seen and heard many verbal and written complaints about the noise, trash, church bells, fiestas, etc.

I arrived at the Guadalajara airport at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 28. We exited the plane by stairs to a waiting bus. The bus ceiling was black with mosquitoes.
