PHOTO GALLERY: It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas (in Guadalajara)

Vendors at the Jardín de San José Christmas market (Alcalde and San Felipe) in the Guadalajara city center report that sales have dropped this year because of construction work along Alcalde for the city’s third Tren Ligero (subway) line. The popular market provides a one-stop seasonal shopping option for trees, lights, every kind of adornment, cards and nativity scene pieces.  Other seasonal markets are set up in the Morelos Park and the Parque Metropolitano in Zapopan.
