Dawn Carver is a retired advertising set designer and builder from San Francisco. She has been visiting Lakeside since the early 1970s when her parents moved there, and she became a resident in 2001.
Lakeside Little Theatre (LLT) will host the fourth screening of its nine-opera season: “The Magic Flute,” arguably the most popular opera ever written, from January 4 to 6.
“Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol” is a retelling of the Dickens’ classic, but from Marley’s perspective.
Puccini’s “Tosca,” performed and filmed live in high definition at New York’s Metropolitan Opera House, will be shown on Lakeside Little Theatre’s state-of-the-art screen from December 21 to 23.
There are few things more satisfying than a well-done comedy. Bare Stage’s final production of 2024 is Graham Linehan’s stage adaptation of the hilarious 1955 film “The Ladykillers,” starring Alec Guinness, Peter Sellers and Herbert Lom.
